Enrolment for international students
Application must firstly be made to Education Queensland International (EQI).
The application can be downloaded from their website or you can phone them on 1800 316 540. You can also email EQI at EQInternational@det.qld.gov.au.
The application form then allows you to indicate Sunnybank State High School as the preferred destination school for your overseas study experience.

The 1800 QSTUDY (1800 778 839) is a service that ensures international students and their family members, legal guardians, agents, and homestay providers to have consistent 24/7 support, including urgent after-hours service and a process for managing incidents.
This hotline is available to use outside of school hours and helps to keep international students safe and supported.

Our Complaints and Appeals Policies are outlined in the ISP Standard Terms and Conditions (https://eqi.com.au/apply-now/terms-and-conditions ). If you have concerns about your course, living arrangements, or welfare, we recommend that you first reach out to your International Student Coordinator to discuss the issue. If the matter is not resolved within the International Department, you or your representative can escalate the issue to the School Principal.
You are welcome to bring a support person to any meetings. The complaints and appeals process is independent, accessible, and available at no cost to you or your representative.
