International Students with 500 (Schools) visas cannot directly enrol in a Queensland Government School. All applications must be directed to

Students are encouraged to submit applications through an education agent registered with Education Queensland International. Find an agent in your country that is EQI approved.
Fees
Tuition fees apply for EQI study programs. Fees vary depending on which programme you choose and the duration of your study.

Homestay
Sunnybank State High School is privileged to have an excellent Homestay Programme that has been in place for the past 20 years with experienced homestay families. Our homestay families are friendly, welcoming and looking forward to meet our new students.
Our homestay families will provide students with:
- Three healthy meals a day, seven days a week
- A private bedroom with a bed, storage space, desk and reading lamp
- Assist student on arrival with obtaining prepaid sim card
- Assist student with directions by giving maps, showing bus routes to city and school
