High School Program (Long-term program)
Study Abroad Program (3 month to 12 month)
Students who wish to apply to Sunnybank State High School are required to apply through Education Queensland International (EQI), the Department of Education, trading as Education Queensland International (EQI) CRICOS Provider Code 00608A.
The application can be downloaded from their website External link or you can phone them on 1800 316 540. You can also email EQI at EQInternational@det.qld.gov.au.
The application form then allows you to indicate Sunnybank State High School as the preferred destination school for your overseas study experience.
Enrolment – Temporary resident admission (TRA)
Students who are temporary resident visa holders are managed by the Temporary Residents unit for the Department of Education. This including:
- Dependants of international students
- Bridging visa holders
- Visitor visa holders
Student can choose course Options from short-term courses (as little as 2 weeks), or up to full program duration, depending on the conditions of the temporary visa.
The first step for potential temporary resident visa holders is to submit a Temporary residents' Application form for Authority to enrol (application form). An application form is required for each student and a non-refundable application fee will be charged for each application.
