Sunnybank State High School operates a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) to provide parents with a cost effective alternative to purchasing textbooks and/or resources elsewhere. The scheme ensures that students have the resources required for them to engage with the curriculum for their education and saves parents time and money in sourcing the prescribed materials elsewhere. Savings are gained through the school's bulk purchasing practices and hiring arrangements.
Participation in the scheme is voluntary, however it is a proven cost-effective way for families to provide resources for students to study in the curriculum. If you elect not to join the scheme, you will need to provide all necessary textbooks, resources and materials for your child to engage with the curriculum.
The SRS is reviewed annually to ensure resources are applicable to the current subject offerings across the year levels and to ensure we have accurate pricing (may be subject to price changes). The proposed SRS for the upcoming year is provided to the P&C Association and tabled for discussion.
The 2025 proposed SRS will be discussed at the November meeting of the Sunnybank State High School P&C Association – 27 November 2024.
